Accessible online training platform
The Tribal Habits platform itself is designed to meet WACG 2.1 requirements at a Level AA standard for online learning modules (note that complex functions such as module creation and platform administration are not fully accessible). This includes full keyboard navigation, compatibility with screen readers, correct use of colour contrast and a completely responsive environment.
Accessible images and media
For all images, there are fields for descriptive text. For all videos, you can upload or request captions while you can create and upload transcripts using the file element. For all narrations, captions and transcripts are automatically created by the platform. For all audio uploads, you can provide a transcript via file upload. All media elements are screen reader and keyboard navigation compatible.
Use all content blocks
All online training building blocks in Tribal Habits can meet WACG 2.1 Level AA requirements. This includes all quiz, poll and Q&A blocks as well as interactive images (hotspots) and matching activities. Every aspect of Tribal Habits has keyboard navigation. For interactive elements, the platform generates instructions for screen readers to assist accessible users.
Accessible library modules
All modules in our Development and Compliance libraries already meet WACG 2.1 Level AA requirements. All images have descriptive text and meet colour contrast requirements. All narrations have captions and transcriptions, while all modules are completely screen reader and keyboard navigation compatible. All you need to do is import modules into your portal!
