The Understanding the Psychology of Selling Training Course explores the human side of the sales process — the motivations, emotions, and personality types that shape how people buy. Learners examine what drives purchase decisions, how to read and use body language effectively during sales interactions, and how to recognise different buyer personalities to better guide each person toward a decision.
This course is designed for salespeople who already have some experience with the sales process and want to build a deeper understanding of buyer behaviour. It goes beyond technique to address the psychological factors that influence every sale. A digital certificate is issued on completion.
This course will take approximately 42 minutes to complete.
Sales conversations rarely succeed on logic alone. Buyers are influenced by emotion, identity, past experience, and personality — and salespeople who don’t account for these factors often lose sales they could have won. Understanding why people buy and how different personality types make decisions gives salespeople a practical edge in every customer interaction.
This course addresses that gap directly — moving beyond surface-level selling skills to explore the psychology behind the buying process.
