An Introduction to Human Resources Training Course

$27.50 inc. GST

This course introduces the core function of human resources and talent management within an organisation. It covers what HR actually does day-to-day — from attracting and hiring the right people, to supporting them once they’re in the door. Learners will come away with a grounded understanding of the HR function and the role it plays in building a workforce that performs.

Designed for Australian and New Zealand workplaces, this course suits anyone stepping into an HR role for the first time, moving across from another function, or looking to better understand how HR supports the business. Completion is recognised with a digital record of achievement.

This course will take approximately 50 minutes to complete.

Why is An Introduction to Human Resources Course Important?

HR is one of the most misunderstood functions in any organisation. When it operates well, people barely notice it — hiring runs smoothly, new starters settle in quickly, pay is right, and disputes get handled before they escalate. When it operates poorly, the consequences show up everywhere: high turnover, poor morale, legal exposure, and a workforce that doesn’t trust the people meant to support it.

For anyone new to an HR role or taking on people management responsibilities for the first time, this course provides the working knowledge needed to contribute effectively from the start.
