Neurodiversity Awareness Training Course (AUS Version)

$27.50 inc. GST

This course introduces the concept of neurodiversity and the different ways people think, learn, and process information. It explains common neurodivergent conditions in the workplace — including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, and Tourette syndrome — and explores the unique strengths neurodiverse employees bring, the challenges they may face, and the legal protections that apply under Australian law.

Designed for Australian workplaces, this course suits all employees, managers, and leaders across industries. On completion, learners receive an instant digital certificate confirming their understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace.

This course will take approximately 52 minutes to complete.

Why is the Neurodiversity Awareness Course Important?

Neurodivergent people are part of every Australian workplace — but many face barriers to employment, career progression, and genuine inclusion that have nothing to do with their ability to perform. When those barriers go unaddressed, organisations lose talent, teams lose cohesion, and individuals lose the opportunity to contribute in ways that matter.

Australian employers have legal obligations to provide workplaces free from discrimination and to make reasonable adjustments for employees with disabilities — obligations that extend to cognitive and neurological differences. The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) provide the legislative framework within which these duties apply.

This course builds the awareness and practical understanding needed to support neurodiverse employees, make appropriate adjustments, and create workplaces where cognitive diversity is recognised as an asset — not an obstacle.
