What is Sage AI?

Sage AI is Tribal Habits’ set of built-in AI features designed to help creators transform and improve training content inside the platform. It’s focused on assisting with content creation and enhancement while keeping humans in control of the final result.

What does Sage AI Transform do?

Sage AI Transform takes content you provide (plain text, or content already inside a topic) and converts it into interactive eLearning elements such as quizzes, flipcards, columns, Q&A, processes, timelines, and more. You select the output type and options, then review and edit the generated element.

What does Sage AI Summary do?

Sage AI Summary generates a short introduction for a learning point by summarising what the learner can expect to explore in that point. It pre-fills the Summary field and can replace an existing summary if accepted.

What content can Sage AI Transform use?

  • Plain text (pasted in — up to 10,000 characters), and

  • Topic content (select one element, a group, a section/part, or an entire topic)
    Some element types aren’t supported when selecting content from a topic (such as Video, Images beyond captions, Embed, and SCORM).

Can we edit or regenerate AI output?

Yes. For Transform, you can preview the result before accepting it, regenerate (up to two additional times), or edit your settings and content. After accepting, the generated element is inserted into your topic and you can edit it like any other content.


For Summary, you can cancel or accept the generated text, and then edit it as needed.

Does Sage AI replace human course creators?

No. Tribal Habits Sage AI is an assistant — not a replacement. AI features are designed to work from your content in controlled situations, with humans reviewing and approving outputs.

Where is Sage AI hosted, and is our content used to train AI models?

Tribal Habits uses Amazon Bedrock (AWS) and runs AI operations within Sydney, Australia. Content sent to models is not retained and is not used to train AI models. The Bedrock model environment is described as isolated from commercial provider models, and no content is shared with model providers (only aggregated usage data).

Can our organisation disable AI features?

Yes. If desired, Super Admins can disable AI features entirely within the portal (via Admin/Account/Subscription). AI usage is optional.
