Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to get started?

Faster than most people expect. Several of our customers were live within days of signing up — Playgroup Queensland had their compliance library uploaded and distributed in under an hour. Carroll & O’Dea had training modules built and rolling out to staff within 24 hours. Implementation is straightforward and we’re with you from day one.

Do I need a dedicated L&D team or technical expertise?

Not at all. Some of our most successful customers — Madison Technologies, Big Brown House, inCommunity — had no L&D function and no prior experience building online training. The platform is designed so that the people who know the content best can build the training themselves, with guidance built in along the way.

Can I build my own training or does it have to be off-the-shelf?

Both. Tribal Habits includes a ready-made compliance and professional development library you can deploy immediately, and a full content creation tool that lets you build custom training from scratch. Most customers start with the library to get moving quickly, then build their own modules as they grow into the platform.

How does pricing work?

Tribal Habits pricing is based on active monthly users — not total headcount. That means you only pay for the people actually using the platform in a given month, which makes it far more cost-effective for organisations with seasonal workforces, casual staff or fluctuating learner numbers. Melbourne Racing Club specifically called this out as a key reason they chose us.

Is Tribal Habits suitable for small organisations?

Absolutely. We work with organisations of all sizes — from small not-for-profits like inCommunity with around 30 staff, through to large enterprises and global consultancies. The platform scales with you, and our pricing model means smaller organisations aren’t locked into enterprise costs from day one.

What kind of results can our customers expect?

Results vary by organisation and use case, but across our customer base we see consistently high completion rates — often 90% or above, even for non-mandatory training. Customers regularly report significant reductions in face-to-face training time, lower support and administrative burden, and faster onboarding for new staff. The stories on this page give a honest picture of what’s achievable.

Is Tribal Habits Australian?

Yes — proudly. Tribal Habits is 100% Australian owned and operated, with local support available during business hours. For many of our customers, that matters. It came up as a deciding factor for Mercer, Playgroup Queensland and Jenny’s Early Learning Centre, among others. You’re not lodging a support ticket into a queue in another timezone.
